Children aged from age 4 (sometimes from age 6 depending on the company) to age 12 may travel alone as Unaccompanied Minors

Upon check-in

5 documents are, however, mandatory:

  • The ticket or reservation via electronic ticket;
  • An identity card or a passport in its name, depending on the destination);
  • Parental permission;
  • The properly completed identification form for the person awaiting the child in the destination airport (surname, forename, address, and telephone). This document is to be provided in the airport or may be requested upon reservation;
  • The authorisation to leave the country for international flights.

Following check-in

Children are taken care of by staff of the Tarbes Lourdes Pyrénées Airport for going through security and boarding.
They are then consigned to the care of the airline’s stewards until the reaching the destination airport.

Upon arrival

After disembarkation they are handed over to the person indicated on the awaiting person’s identification sheet upon this person’s presentation of identification documentation.

UM meeting point at the Tarbes Lourdes Pyrénées Airport: the awaiting persons (parents, grandparents, other family members, etc.) cannot access the “luggage carousel” zone located behind the glass walls in arrivals, and must wait until the flight has finished disembarkation.
